Makers Gonna Make Monday – A Mermaid Notebook

Last week I posted to my IG Stories the cutest mermaid notebook. Of all places, I found at my local grocery store.

I considered buying the notebook but decided against it. How many more notebooks do I need?

When I got home I was devastated for not buying it (ok, that’s a bit exaggerated). The next day, I went back for it, and they were gone. All of them. I wasn’t about to traipse to other grocery stores looking for it. It’s the notebook that got away.

Anyway, I received overwhelming feedback suggesting I create one of my very own. So, I decided to do just that. It turned out so well and it cost me less than $3 (I had a couple supplies already on hand).

My version doesn’t look exactly the same, but it’s good enough.

This mermaid composition book makes an excellent accessory and is perfect for journaling, drawing, back to school planning, or whatever.
