Happy Thanksgiving!

I’m utterly grateful and thankful for who I have in my life.

Although there are many, my husband, is the top of my list.  He’s supportive and encouraging, even with my crazy shenanigans.  I’d be lost without him.  No really, I have no directional sense.

My family are amazing too, I am so lucky to have each one of them.  I text or talk to at least one of them everyday, we are that close.

I am also grateful for my friends.  They totally get my weird humor (or personality), so that’s a win for me.

And, I’m also thankful for my social media friends.  People I’ve never met before send me the nicest messages I am amazed with their kindness.  Thank you.

I hope everyone has a wonderful and safe Thanksgiving. Don’t these little boxes make the cutest decor?

Details

For the box, I used this Momenta diecut in my diecut machine.

I folded the box into shape and glued the sections as per the instructions

Then, I cut a strip of Fall/Thanksgiving designed scrapbook paper and formed a band around the box.

For the next part I wrapped some raffia around the box and tied a knot.

I wanted to hand-letter a short one word statement like thankful or grateful on my tags so I did so with the brown and golden brown brush pen from this set.

Then I attached the tag and made a bow with the raffia.

Last, I grabbed my kraft colored leaves and flowers by Prima Marketing and hot glued them onto the box (dont forget to add the candy)!!
