So, my husband and I got back from Maui this week, and I am exhausted. Really exhausted.

I seriously do not want to leave the house or do anything…even go to the craft store!!

At first I thought it was jet lag. The time difference between California and Hawaii is only two hours so I don’t believe it could effect me that significantly, or could it?

Then I thought, I must be going through some sort of depression.

Here’s my assessment. I left an 85 degree palm tree laden tropical paradise to come home to work, cacti, and 67 degree weather. Yep, I’ve got vacation depression.

This layout is dedicated to my cacti. After all, they survived for ten days without food and water.

Details

This is the bullet journal I use.

With my Momenta cacti/succulent stamps, I started building my plants along the bottom of the page.

I used this stamp pad and acrylic block.

On many of the stamped images, instead of using a traditional ink pad, I used my watercolor pens. I used colors from this set, this set, and this set.

Then, I added a bit more color by coloring in the images with colored pencils.

To add to the cacti effect, I hand-lettered November with this brush pen and added some cacti details with this white gel pen.

With my ruler and black pen from this set, I drew six boxes for the days of the week.

Lastly, I hand-lettered the days of the week, the word notes, and the word buy with a green brush pen from this set.
