Awhile back, I received some beautiful flowers from my husband. My favorite, peonies. Pink and white to be exact.

Anyway, as time passed each peony started dying. As the bunch became fewer and fewer, the vase became smaller and smaller.

Well, I only had two peonies left so I put them in a mason jar.

And then there was one.

It sat in the jar all by its lonesome self. But the single flower in the jar looked amazing. It stood the strongest and lasted the longest.

So, I decided to recreate that one flower in the mason jar look.

After using my Art-C jar diecut in my diecut machine, I stamped the matching jar and label onto it. I used my acrylic block to hold the stamp and this black ink pad.

I hand lettered the word hello onto the label with this pink pen.

Then, I took the base of the card (pink) and added a white piece of cardstock on top with some adhesive.

For a bit of a raised look, I used foam squares, then placed the jar onto the white cardstock.

To give it a more detail, I added a pink ribbon (from Michael’s) to the bottom of the card.

For the flower – I used this floral stamp set.

I really wanted the pink petals of the flower to stand out. So I colored the first stamp layer with a this pink pen.

Then I used this darker pink ink for the second layer of the flower.

Last, I drew a flower stem and added a leaf with my green brush marker (these are similar).
