Passport, check! Camera, check! Traveler’s checks, check!”
Friends fans anyone?
Well, next week, I’ll be taking off to Houston.
To prep for my trip (or any trip for that matter) I make a list of what I need to pack and check it off once it’s in the bag.
It’s supposed to rain the entire time I’m there and I’m beyond excited, SoCal never gets enough rain. Not looking forward to the heat though.
So, I’m packing summer clothes – shorts, tank tops, flip-flops, an umbrella.
But I can’t just pack without having a go to list, I’m bound to forget something. So I created just that.
This is my travel notebook from Momenta (read about my Ambassadorship with them here). I love this book. Not only is it compact and a nice size, but it’s glittery and sparkly!
I rarely use the color orange. It’s not my go-to color, but for some reason – it was when I created this. With my brush-pen (from Michael’s) I hand lettered my destination – Houston. I also recommend these brush pens if there’s not a Michael’s closeby. I also added a bit of detail with this white pen.
I decided to add the weather conditions to my travel journal because it reminds me how I should pack – but also serves as a reminder for years to come. The blue pens I used for the weather are from the same set as the black pen mentioned above. I also notated the days of the week with these alphabet stamps and stamp block.
This binder clip is super easy to make. Just a bit of washi tape to either side and now it’s a decorative piece of stationery.
I cannot find this journal anywhere. Please send me a message via Instagram or Facebook, and I’ll send an update once it’s available.
