Sometimes I have those weeks where I’m all about being a plain Jane. No make-up, yoga/stretchy pants, hair in a pony tail – get my drift?

Well, I have those types of days with creating too. It’s fun playing with bright vibrant colors some days and other days I’m more of the simple and plain look.

I love how this bullet journal layout turned out, it’s plain yet not so plain.

The Details

This is the bullet journal I use.

Initially, I planned on making seven rectangles – 1 for each day of the week, this is the ruler and pen I used. But then I thought it was too plain. So, I added a circle to the top of each rectangle with my stencil (similar) and a purple pen from this set.

Then, with my purple brush pen and my purple fineliner pen, I lettered the word September and the days of the week.

I decided to add a calendar stamp that my friends from The Sassy Club sent over to me. I love having a calendar within a calendar and I like that I can decorate it any way I choose. I used this acrylic block to hold the stamp and this black ink pad.

I also used a September stamp to complete my mini calendar.

The same brush pen and fineliner pen (mentioned above) were used for text inside the circles.
