Eat your heart out Bing Crosby, I know exactly what yearning for a white Christmas is all about – as I’m dreaming of a pink cactus!

As I was staring at my cacti/succulent rubber stamps, I was just imagining what it would be like if I water colored them pink instead of green.

So, I cut out a postcard sized piece of my new watercolor paper courtesy of Legion Paper and I committed to making pink cacti/succulent.

Granted, cactus and succulents tend to be on the green side more so then pink, but a bit of imagination and fun never hurt anyone!

Although I can’t necessarily water these cacti/succulents, my dreams of a pink cactus did come true. It’s a summer miracle!

-Also, thank you Legion Paper for introducing me to your new Stonehenge Aqua Coldpress Paper. The texture is perfect, the paper is thick (it remained flat- didn’t curl up at all), and I love that it’s smooth enough for me to brush letter on. I can’t wait to use this paper on my next watercolor project!
