Ever tried translating the word cactus? I just did.

This is what I came up with –

  • Spanish- cactus
  • German – kaktus
  • French – cactus
  • Japanese – kakutasu
  • Italian – cactus
  • Danish – kaktus
  • Portuguese – cacto
  • Filipino – kaktus
  • Polish – kaktus
  • Uzbek – kaktus
  • Dutch – cactus
  • Macedonian – kaktus

Similar theme going on?  Kaktus is quite popular.

However, I do like how the Portuguese say it, “cacto.”  What up cacto?

Anyway, my love for cactus and succulents have not wavered.  And because of that, I decided to incorporate the cacto into my August spread.  The spread is very basic, but the love for cacto is apparent.

This is the bullet journal I am using.

Before stamping, I blocked a portion of the journal because I didn’t want the cactus stamp to go past a certain point. The cactus stamp is from Michael’s (but this cactus stamp collection is awesome) and the this is the ink pad I use.

Then with my green brush pen I wrote in the word August.

I also used this ruler and several pens from this set, to create the calendar.

For the last part of the layout, I stamped the days of the week with this stamp set.
