I was bilingual and fancy today. Bilingual because well I used the word ‘merci’ – one of five french words I know. And fancy because I made macarons. Now, made is a loose term, as in, I made a card using a macaron stamp.

I’d really like to learn how to make those delicious tasting cookies, but it seems like it’s beyond my abilities. I can just envision the horror. My kitchen would be one of those kitchens with flour (or in this case powdered sugar) everywhere, and after all the effort and excitement – the cookies would likely turn out nasty.

So, to give my thanks and appreciation to the recipient, this card will be accompanied with some freshly made macarons…from a store down the street from my house.

BTW, I just had to make a green colored one, pistachio is my fav!

Supplies I used –

Stamps (or Stamp and Die Set) and Stamp Block-

Ink

Water Brush Pen and Watercolor Markers

Gold Lettering Ink

Foam Tape
